Please Help Sante D'Or Keep Its Doors Open!
As a result of the economy, one of our key grant sources has informed us it is restructuring its focus, and we will not be included in this year's appropriation. This puts Sante D'or at a critical juncture in its operation. We need to create new ways to meet our funding needs or we will be forced to close our doors. So we are launching an immediate SAVE SANTE D'OR campaign.
We are very excited to announce that a very generous donor has offered us the opportunity to receive a matching donation of $15,000. This amount will be awarded only if a corresponding $15,000 is raised in additional donations or pledges by February 29, 2009.
Please consider helping us in one of the following ways:
~ Send a check now to Sante D'Or, P.O. Box 29076, Los Angeles, CA 29076 (write "Save Sante D'Or" on the memo line)
~ Commit to a $500 Annual Sponsorship for one of our animals
~ Set up an automatic monthly donation in any amount you specify using our convenient Paypal link on the Donate Page.
Currently, Sante D'Or houses and cares for more than 40 animals at the rescue, with more in foster homes. Many have special needs because of age and physical condition and may never be placed in homes. We are committed to providing food, shelter, medical care and hope for animals from your community streets who have nowhere else to turn. Closing our doors would be devastating!
