RESOURCES / EDUCATION
Santé D’Or is part of the Los Feliz community. Whenever possible, we try to support and turn to local businesses and organizations. In addition, we attempt to stay current with holistic and natural treatments. Depending on the questions you might have, here is a selected list of places with which to begin your research. If you still have questions, please come to our location or direct your emails to info@santedor.com.
Having Trouble With Your Animal Companion?
Relinquishing your own animal companion is not a decision to take lightly. While we do not have the facility for all abandoned animals we receive calls about, we will attempt to help you find a placement for your companion through adoption or other local rescues if possible. Please ask yourself the reasons you are considering it, and first read the Humane Society of the United States’ information page located at http://www.hsus.org/pets/pet_care If we are able to take in an animal, medical records must be provided to us. An appointment will be made to bring your animal for observation, and if we agree to take the animal in, you will be required to fill out a release form, and any adoption we achieve thereafter will be at our discretion. Please also bring any toys and treats, personal belongings such as towels, blankets, bedding, and food you were giving him or her. A donation may be required to support your animal until a new home is found.
